This historic 1880’s home was remodeled and artistically modernized in 2004, maintaining much of the original and historical fixtures. These elements can be seen throughout the house in window and door frames as well as the dining table, made from the hundred year old beams and trusses. This home parallels the historical qualities found throughout the old coal-mining town of Crested Butte which won it the coveted honorable mention award in the Residential Remodel category of Crested Butte’s local architecture board.
