Happy Valentines Day from your very own Snow Betty on Monday, February14th here to report it is going to be another sunny day in Paradise. Start the week off right with a few tracks in our 244 inches of snowfall! The mountain is open for fun for everyone, with 1167 acres of terrain, 15 lifts running, including 4 high speed quads getting you sweet runs as fast as possible. There is a ton of pleasure to be had with 100% of the beginner, intermediate, advanced and extreme terrain open, enough for everyone of all levels.
And don't forget our other fun adventures offered in the Adventure Park, with ice-skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall and a new lift serving tubing hill, all now open! The bungee trampoline provides a turbo-charged, gravity-defying ride up to 30 feet in the air, while the Climbing Pinnacle features a 28-foot, 6-route tower with auto-belay. The tubing hill is now located on warming house hill in the previous adult learning area and features a new tow lift. On a sunny day like today, with a high of 33*F, it is the perfect day to visit the Adventure Park.
Crested Butte Ski & Ride School's award-winning instructors can't keep a secret. Their expertise and local knowledge give you just the right tip and insight to take your skiing or boarding to the next level. Whether you are learning to ski for the first time or are interested in taking it to the next level with one of our Extremes with Ease Workshops, our Ski & Ride School is sure to improve your time on the hill. For any age or ability, this is the place to get better and have fun at the same time. Call 1-800-444-9236 for more information on our programs including private lessons, adult group lessons, kid's lessons, ski camp and local programs such as Women's Wednesday Clinics every wednesday from 1:30-4pm. Women’s Wednesday Clinics are for local women and taught by women instructors. These clinics are a great way for local women to ski and ride together, and an excellent opportunity to learn new skills on the slopes. Only $50! Register at the Adventure Center or call 349-2211.
After a full day at the Adventure Park and touring the mountain you will certainly be ready for some refreshing beverages, satisfying food and some evening fun. Head down to town for a taste of Italy at Marchitelli's Gourmet Noodle, located at 411 3rd Street, right off Elk Avenue, open for dinner at 5pm. Call 970-349-7401 for reservations. Or perhaps your in the mood for something more eclectic like pan-Asian delights from the Ginger Cafe, located at 425 Elk Ave. The Ginger specializes in Indian and Thai cuisines as well as fun exotic drinks and a intimate dinning experience.
