Good Morning Crested Butte! Today is November 26th, 2008 and join us when the champagne glasses will be clinging as the nine o'clock hour starts ringing! Today is here and the time is near. Hit the door with all your gear. Three lifts are running including Red Lady Express and the Adult and Kid's Magic Carpet and five trails are clear on 40 groomed acres to start off the year. The weather today will be mid 40's and clear but the turkey tomorrow will bring the snow here. So put on a smile and meet us here! Peanut, Houston, Lower Keystone, Warming House Hill and Bubba's Shortcut are the trails that are open and ski them with kicks as KBUT will be broadcasting live from the deck of Butte 66. If what you like is to butter and slide, Crested Butte has some rails you can try on for size. Once you're done shredding the gnar, take a break at your choice of a bar. Butte 66, Woodstone Bar and Grille, and Trackers are just a few to mention that will fulfil your taste buds and thirst and also treat your wallet well. The day will bring prizes, raffles and cheer, hey stop by the new Thin Air Sports and pick up some hot new gear!
