Happy Humpday! This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. We received one more inch of snow overnight, bringing our total season snowfall to 19 inches. Right now, you can ride the Red Lady Express, Teocalli and Kids and Adult Magic Carpets to a total of 13 trails and 85 acres of great terrain, including 57 groomed acres. Our natural snow base of 30 inches is plenty to get your legs and lungs warmed up for the early season and we've got incredible prices to get you up on the mountain.

Announcements
I spent some time at the base area yesterday and was happy to see that the locals are already out there spreading that one-of-kind spirit of Crested Butte and are definitely sharing great expectations for the 2008-2009 ski and riding season. We're all eagerly awaiting reports of new terrain openings for the weekend, so check the snow report often at www.skicb.com.

The forecast for the remainder of the work week is just what you need to get ready for your weekend at Crested Butte- snow, snow, and more snow. We're expecting a 50-60% chance of snow every day until Saturday, when the skies plan to clear once again- bringing a Colorado bluebird weekend. If you're like me, you're always looking for a deal, and we've got the best offers for early season winter play.

Are you a passholder for another ski resort in Colorado? Until December 17th, all pass holders from any other ski resort can experience the memorable skiing and riding of Crested Butte for HALF PRICE. Adult lift tickets start at just $29.50 and kids' lift tickets start at only $15.00. You really can't afford to pass up that deal, can you!?

We also have spectacular news for season pass holders at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Use half price lift tickets to get in some early skiing without using days on your pass, (i.e. save them for our infamous powder days!) As a bonus, we'll extend the half price offer to your pass-less buddies so you have someone to keep you company on the hill. That's right, you can bring along one friend per day at the same great low rate. You know you want to get out there this weekend and see if you can still carve like you did at the end of the season last year. This deal lets you test your muscle memory and get motivated for the impending snowfall!

Another great deal we are extending to out-of-town guest is our Stay and Ski Free package. From now until December 18th, if you book your lodging through Crested Butte Vacations, you ski for free. Stay and Ski Free packages start at just $63 per person per night. You can shop around, but you're not going to find another deal like this one. Call Crested Butte Vacations to make your reservations at 1-800-810-7669

I hope you've enjoyed the snow report this morning...and that you hear me passing along the stoke of the 2008-2009 season at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Thanks for checking in with us, and I'll see you on the hill.
