Be sure to wear your hat to work and school this morning- we are expecting snow in Crested Butte today. There is a winter weather advisory for snow until mid-day tomorrow and we could get as much as 4-8 inches in the course of this snow event. That's exactly what we're looking for here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. We've had five inches in the last seven days, and our base depth is 28 inches. We currently have 28% of our terrain open, including Beginner and Intermediate runs that will surely get you warmed up for the winter season. There is a total of 138 acres to ski and ride, 110 of which is our infamous Colorado's Best Corduroy. Did you know that Outside Magazine rated Crested Butte number 9 on its list of the 20 best towns in the country for 2008?
