Great news on this beautiful Friday morning! The Silver Queen Lift opens today giving you access to some of your favorite runs like Windy Gap, Triangle, Lower North Star, and International from top to bottom! And the good news keeps on coming because it looks like we can expect snow showers today with snow continuing to fall through Monday! Our current natural snow depth is 26 inches! Five lifts are up and running giving you access to 225 glorious acres of which 181 have been groomed including Paradise Bowl, which is our groomer's choice for today! We're even starting to see some of our advanced terrain open for the season, so strap on those boots and come up and enjoy yourselves on the Mountain this weekend! If you have never had the good fortune of witnessing an ice carving demonstration, then grab the kids and come check out some World Champion carvers show you their amazing talents! It's a magical experience that you and the whole family will be talking about for years! Rock on Ice returns to Crested Butte this December 19th and 20th! This 2 day event will feature a series of ice carving demonstrations and interactive sculptures. A dazzling ice sculpture garden will be created in the outdoor courtyard at the Mountaineer Square.
