Today you will have access to Crested Butte Mountain Resort's EXTREME terrain with the opening of the North Face Lift at 9:00 am!

Well Folks it's the day I know most of you have been waiting for! At 9:00 am this morning, the North Face lift will be opening for the first time this season giving you access to 250 acres of EXTREME skiing and riding! Today you can rip it up on new terrain like The Glades, Tower 11, and North face! Our incredible ski patrol has been working hard to keep the Mountain safe for everyone. We appreciate their efforts! They will continue to work hard throughout the weekend to open the High lift with additional terrain, next week. Nice work and thanks a bunch!
Currently, 15 lifts are up and running here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort giving you access to 894 acres! Our hard working grooming teams have buffed out 64 trails of "Colorado's Best Corduroy" for you to enjoy. Our natural snow depth is 53 inches and you can expect the conditions on the Mountain to be powder and packed powder. It looks like we will be enjoying partly cloudy skies today with temperatures in the low thirties. Don't forget to take a run down International because it is our groomer's choice for today!

Their PSIA/AMGA Certified Guides will help you explore all the terrain Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to offer. These experienced guides will also evaluate your needs and give you a mountain experience you will never forget! They will take you on an adventure on the North Face as well as show you hidden powder stashes on the lower mountain. Guests will be supplied for the day with a backpack and other necessities needed for hiking and exploring the Mountain.
