Good Morning! This is your Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Saturday, January 3rd! Good news folks it is currently snowing in Crested Butte! We received 1 new inch of snow in the last 24 hours and snow should continue to fall for the rest of the day. It's been a great season so far with a season total snowfall of 137 inches! Currently 15 lifts are up and running giving you access to 89 trails, all spread out upon a fantastic 53 inch base! Our hard working grooming teams have groomed 481 acres overnight and their choice for best groomed run this morning will be International! One hundred percent of the main mountain is now open! Also, 33 percent of our famous extreme terrain is open for you to come up and ski or ride! You can expect powder and packed powder conditions on the Mountain today as well, with temperatures reaching the mid thirties! Sounds like a perfect day to me! If you are looking for something extra special to do while you are here, then book yourself and your friends, on a sleigh ride dinner to Rustica Ristorante! Enjoy a truly unique dining experience where half the fun is getting there. Ride in an open sleigh pulled by one of our snowcats to the backside of the Mountain. There you will dine at the Rustica Ristorante in Paradise Warming House! Enjoy a tantalizing four-course dinner featuring a full bar and handpicked wine list to complement the evening. Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 970 349 4554. There's also plenty of fun for the kids happening at Camp CB! Join our fun-loving instructors for an exciting Kids' Night Out where they can enjoy activities like tubing, movies, pizza dinner, and other fun indoor and outdoor activities. Children ages 4-12 are welcome and the cost per child is $85. Kids' Night Out takes place every week, Thursday through Saturday and can be booked by calling 970 349 2259.
