Special Announcements
5:30 AM December 20, 2013 and we see a fresh 3 inches of powder decorate our mountain over night! This is Powder Hound barking out some great news from Crested Butte Mountain Resort as we've seen 86 inch of fresh powder so far this season and more in the forecast for the upcoming week. It's shaping up to be a great weekend to come play on the 565 acres of terrain covered in a killer 37 inch base. Catch any one of the 10 lifts spinning you off on to 78 trails, 32 that have been meticulously groomed in Colorado's Best Corduroy. For the beginner shredder, enjoy 100% of the terrain we have to offer and for you advanced junkies we also have 100% of tempting territory. 62% of our intermediate terrain is open and, as of yesterday, the North Face lift cranked up for the season, allowing for 18% of our extreme terrain to receive a rope drope. Point your skis toward Paradise Bowl today for some sick turns, as the Groomers are calling it the choice today.
