The snow globe got shook up big time and here we are on Big Game Sunday with a ton of new snow and plenty of time to enjoy skiing the 33 inches from the last 7 days and then enjoy some football. That is almost three feet from this last storm, so head on out to all that fresh powder on any one of our 14 lifts shuttling you to 1163 acres of open terrain for your skiing and riding pleasure. There is 13 feet of sweet sweet snow from this season covering the 103 open trails today. The 69 inch base and terrificly groomed terrain, like the Groomer's choice Paradise Bowl, will make for a wonderful way to enjoy the 100% of open beginner, intermediate, advanced and 99% of extreme terrain. To honor America's favorite day of sports, we are offering discounted lift tickets based on the combined score today's big game. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is in the football spirit this year and is announcing that on Monday, February 3, 2014, we will be offering discounted lift tickets based on the final combined score of Sunday’s game, or $59 in the event of a high scoring game. The price of a full day lift ticket on Monday, February 3, will be determined using the following formula: $1 per point scored from today’s game. If the final score is Denver Broncos 28 and Seattle Seahawks 10, the price of a lift ticket for Big Game Monday would be $38.
