A happy Sunday skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. There's no better way to start this 6th day of December than with 1 inch of new snow that is already on the ground, and it's still snowing! Temperatures will reach the upper teens today and remain that way through mid week. Good news...the snow is predicted to continue to come down throughout the rest of the week! Although it's the end of the weekend, it's the beginning of a powerlicious week! Four lifts are open and running, including Red Lady Express, Teocalli Lift, Paradise Lift and the Magic Carpet, leading you to 14 diverse trails. The snow makers and groomers have worked hard creating a lucious 17 inch base that is groomed to perfection. In addition to the wonderful terrain open, the jib park, located on Warming House Hill has features for all levels of jibbers. Come on out to Crested Butte Mountain, where there's something out here for everyone! Skiing and snowboarding can definitely lead to quite the appetite! Well thank goodness for all the delicious eateries located throughout the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. It all starts with breakfast, where the WoodStone Grille, located in the Grand Lodge, cooks up a generous and hearty breakfast buffet or a la carte menu that are both sure to get your engines ready for a fun filled day on the hill. If it's lunch or apres that you're craving, Butte 66 has a new menu that features tastes of the American West that is a sure bet for the whole crew. For a quick in and out meal, Paradise Warming House is now open and offers burgers, fries, bars and more, all perfect for a grab and go lunch or a sit down break with beautiful views. There are so many mouth watering places to eat around the mountain, the hardest part is picking where to go! The snow is here, so grab your gear and head up to the hill and end this weekend the right way!
