It's another POWDER DAY in Crested Butte!

The skiing and riding is outrageously fun in Crested Butte! It's all about the POWDER right now! The snow has been stacking up with 6 inches falling in the last 24 hours, 28 inches in the last 48 hours, and 23 inches in the last 7 days! Sixty new acres of terrain are scheduled to open today, giving you access to some of your favorite runs like Upper Treasury, Jokerville, Upper Keystone, and a whole lot more! Keep in mind that the Jib Park on Lower Keystone will be closed today so that our Mountain Teams can rebuild it after this huge storm. Other lift openings happening this week are Silver Queen, scheduled to open on Thursday, and Teocalli scheduled to open on Saturday! Thanks again to all the folks who have been working around the clock to expand more terrain, so that we can enjoy ourselves on the Mountain! We could see a break in the snow tomorrow, but experts are predicting more snow to fall at the end of the week and through the weekend. Three lifts are up and running, giving you access to 33 trails all spread out across a 31 inch base. Thirty one of those trails have been groomed and the groomer's choice for today is Upper Keystone. You can expect temperatures to reach the teens, with calm winds and fantastic conditions! Have you checked out the new PowCam on this website yet? Now you can watch the snow stack up in real time! The PowCam will be cleared every day after the lifts close at 4:00 pm. As the snow stacks up, you can click on the PowCam and see exactly how much fresh is waiting for you when the lifts start spinning in the morning.
