Good morning and welcome to what will be another incredible day on the slopes here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. On this Thursday, the 27th day in February, the options are endless as the mountain is 100% open, meaning you have 14 lifts to choose from, leading you to over 120 diverse and thrilling trails, 67 of which have been impeccably groomed. Over 18 feet of snow have fallen so far this season, but it looks like we will be adding to that total, as snow is expected to start falling today and will last through the weekend! Thanks to the unbelievable amount of snowfall this season, the 76 inch base is skiing and riding wonderfully, so no matter where you point your skis or board, you’re sure to end with a smile from ear to ear; but while you’re up here, take a ride on Black Eagle, as it’s the groomer’s choice of the day. After spending the day going down the slopes, change it up a bit, and try hiking up for the final night of the Town Randonee Series brought to you by Griggs Orthopedics, happening tonight at 5:00 pm. Registration is free and begins at 4:30 pm in the Axtel building. Come out and see how much fun going up can actually be!
