Announcements
A happy Wednesday morning skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! And what a snow filled 30th day of December it is, as 1 inch of fresh white snow has fallen on Crested Butte in the past 24 hours and more snow is on it's way! The chance of snow will continue not only for the rest of today, but also for the rest of the week, adding on to the 95 inches of snow Crested Butte has already received this season! With temperatures reaching the mid 20's today, this final hump day of 2009 is ending with plenty of new humps of fresh powder for all to enjoy!

14 out of 16 lifts are open and running today, leading you to 84 trails, 60 of which have been groomed to perfection by the hard working groomers. 554 skiable acres are open, all set on a powder packed 35 inch base. 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain is open, as well as three terrain parks spread across the mountain, including the jib park on Warming House Hill, the Painter Boy Terrain Park and the DC Terrain Park, located on Lower Canaan; all offering a variety of fun and exciting features for all levels of jibbers. This mountain sure does know how to please every level skier and rider.

After a long day of skiing and riding some of America's most amazing terrain, take a break at one of the many restaurants located both on and off the hill. From grab and go lunches at Paradise Warming House, to sit down casual dining at Butte 66 Roadhouse where the views are almost as wonderful as the food, to 9380 Prime's gourmet lunches, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has something to satisfy everyone's tastebuds. This year, two scrumptious additions were added to the mountain's list of irresistible eateries. They include Uley's Cabin, located by the Ice Bar, where gourmet lunches are served in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere; and Jefe's Burritos, located in Mountaineer Square, where their mouth watering burritos are only a portion of their menu. No matter what you're craving, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has something out there for everyone.

With the snow falling and so little time left in 2009, make sure to spend those days living it up at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
