Announcements
Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Today is Friday, January 15th, 2010 and it's going to be another beauty as we have already received 106 inches of snow so far this season! With partly cloudy skies and temperatures reaching the upper 20's today, the weather couldn't be better. Temperatures are expected to reach the lower 30's by tomorrow and stay that way through early next week. In addition to phenomenal temperatures, there is a chance of snow for today and lasting all the way through next week!

Take your pick from any of the 12 lifts that are running, leading you to 84 trails open, 57 of which have been groomed to perfection by the diligent groomers who have been working through the night to create Colorado's best corduroy; they recommend Paradise Bowl as their groomer's choice today. 85% of the mountain is open, including 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, spread across 554 acres and lying on a 34 inch base. In addition to phenomenal trails to shred on, three terrain parks, including the terrain park located on Warming House Hill, the Painter Boy Terrain Park, and the Canaan Terrain park, as well as the DC Superpipe are all open and ready to be ridden. There's more out there than you can even imagine.

If the skiing and riding wasn't good enough, try some of the scrumptious food options around Crested Butte Mountain! From fine dining or a casual lunch setting at Prime 9380, to BBQ sandwiches and salads at Butte 66, to grab and go cafeteria style lunches and snacks at Paradise Warming House, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has something out there to fulfil everyone's tastebuds. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, try the Sleigh Ride Dinner, where a snowcat will pick you up from the base of the mountain and take you for a spectacular ride up to the new Uley's Cabin, located by the Ice Bar. At Uley's Cabin you will enjoy Chef Leo Novak's irresistible Colorado cuisine, which is sure to have you coming back for lunch the next day! Reservations are required for dinner and recommended for lunch. After a fabulous day of skiing, end it perfectly with some delicious delicacies from around the mountain!

End the work week the right way here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
