Good Morning Folks and Happy Sunday to you all! It's been an amazing week here in Crested Butte! We started out with some big Powder days, then rounded the week off with beautiful, Colorado Blue-Bird skies! We also saw a bunch of our extreme terrain open this week, which always puts a smile on our faces! We are having a great time up here in Crested Butte! Here are a few stats to help you get acquainted with what's happening on the Mountain today. Currently 14 lifts are up and running, giving you access to 109 Powder packed trails! Sixty six of those trails have been groomed to perfection by our hard working grooming teams. They buffed out Bear last night and have chosen it as their groomer's choice for today. We've been watching the snow stack up over the last week, giving us a season total snowfall of 142 inches. The recent snowfall has left us with a natural snow depth of 47 inches and provided us with stellar skiing and riding conditions. The weather experts are predicting another beautiful day in Crested Butte with a thirty percent chance of snow, and temperatures expected to reach 28 degrees. Currently, 97% of the Mountain is open including 89% of our extreme terrain! That amounts to 1113 fun filled acres for you to come up and shred! One hundred percent of our beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain is also open for your skiing and riding pleasure! There is something for every skill level at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, so you are guaranteed a great time on the Hill!
