Good Morning skiers and riders! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday! The week has just begun and it is shaping up to be a great one! We received an inch of snow in the last 24 hours bringing our total snowfall for the season up to 192 inches! As I review what the weather experts are predicting for the coming week, I am happy to report that snow is expected to fall through Thursday! So get ready because we are in for some more Powder Days, Crested Butte style! So, why not start the week off right by coming up and riding any one of 15 lifts. With 1144 total acres of terrain open, you'll have your choice of 111 exciting trails, all spread out across a magic, 55 inch base. Sixty nine of those powder packed trails have been groomed, and our hard working groomers have chosen Championship, top to bottom, as their choice for best groomed run on the Mountain today! We've got cloudy skies as the day breaks and temperatures are expected to reach the mid thirties. Don't you just love this time of year? Now here's a screaming deal that you won't want to miss out on! Do you have a pass at another ski resort and always wanted to ski or ride the powdery slopes of Crested Butte? Well, through March 13 if you own a pass from any other ski resort and you book a night at our slopeside Elevation Hotel and Spa, we will give you a free lift ticket for every night you stay! With the fantastic skiing and riding conditions we've had all season, it's a good time to make that choice and get up here and join in the fun! Before you head up on the Hill this week for the inevitable Powder Days coming our way, be sure and check out the PowCam on this website! Now you can watch the snow stack up in real time! The PowCam is cleared every day after the lifts close at 4:00 pm. As the snow stacks up, you can click on the PowCam and see exactly how much fresh is waiting for you when the lifts start spinning in the morning! It a real buzz! Be sure and have a look!
