The Local Randondee Race Series begins at 7:30am today. There will be six races throughout the winter to train for the Grand Traverse of just to enjoy some uphill camaraderie. Also beginning today is the Rock on Ice event with ice carvings and holiday celebration. Be wowed as the two most world-renowned carvers create larger then life-sized animals, holiday characters and other iconic figures out of blocks of ice. The festival will include daily ice carving demonstrations, interactive sculptures perfect for family photos and a dazzling ice garden in Mountaineer Square. Stop by on your way to the hill and be prepared to be amazed!
