Announcements
Good morning skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. It's another powdertastic day on the slopes on this Sunday the 27th day in February of 2011. Six inches of fresh, white snow have fallen on the mountain in the past 24 hours, while 20 have fallen in the past 48 hours and a whopping 35 inches have come down in the past week, making for a terrific 86 inch base. So far this year, Mother Nature has dumped 295 inches of fluffy snow on the hill, creating for powder stashes everywhere. The best part is more snow is expected to fall throughout the day with temperatures reaching the lower 30's.

The options are endless on this last Sunday in February as 100% of the entire mountain is open, which includes 16 lifts taking you to 105 diverse and exciting trails. This is equivalent to 1167 skiable acres, 490 of which have been groomed. Although Crested Butte has some amazing steeps and bumps, the mountain is very proud to hold the title of Colorado's best corduroy as well; in fact the groomer's recommend Upper Ruby Chief as their choice of groomed runs today. So whether it's leg burning powder stashes you're after, or fast moving cruisers, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has something out there for everyone.

While the food and terrain is pretty unbeatable, the restaurants and cuisine they offer are just as phenomenal. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is pleased to offer a variety of food options for anything your taste buds may be looking for. From mouth watering BBQ at Butte 66 Roadhouse, to fine dining at Prime 9380, to grab and go snacks, burgers and more at Paradise Warming House, the mountain has options galore! So whether you're out on the hill or relaxing at the base area, CBMR has some delicious treats and drinks to make your day on the hill that much better.

From out of this world skiing and riding, to delectable cuisine, there are more than enough reasons to come out and experience what true Paradise feels like; but just in case, here's one more reason. Now through March, when you book three nights of lodging and three days of lifts, you will receive the fourth night of lodging and fourth day of skiing and riding at no additional charge! There are plenty more deals where that came from, so call Crested Butte Vacations at 1.800.810.7669 to book your vacation today!

Come out and experience another phenomenal powder day on the hill here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
