Announcements
Good morning powder lovers of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Today is Tuesday, March 29th, 2011 and it's going to be another powderific day on the slopes. Mother Nature has dumped 7 inches of fresh snow on the mountain in the past 24 hours, 20 inches in the past 48 hours and a whopping 35 inches in the past 7 days, creating a season snowfall total of 359 inches! The skiing and riding couldn't be better as the 92 inch base is covered with fluffy, soft powder! You can expect partly cloudy skies for today with temperatures reaching the mid 30's.

The options are endless on this last Tuesday of the ski season as 13 lifts are open and spinning leading you to 105 diverse and exciting trails. 100% of the entire mountain is open, which includes thrilling steeps, leg burning bumps and of course, Colorado's best corduroy that the groomers have worked hard creating overnight; they even recommend Upper Keystone as their groomer's choice today.

If you're feeling down that the ski season is coming to an end, put that chin up because there's some good news that will keep your frown upside down. Be ready to go for next year by purchasing your 2011-2012 season pass for the lowest prices of the season! Hurry and buy now because come June 1st prices will go up; so save some bucks and gear up for another amazing winter next year!

There are still six fun filled days to enjoy some of the greatest skiing and riding in North America, so don't waste any time! While you're shredding some amazing powder, take a break at one of the many eateries located throughout the entire mountain. From breath taking views and delicious BBQ at Butte 66 Roadhouse, to delectable cuisine by an outdoor fire pit at Prime 9380, to cafeteria style goodies at Paradise Warming House, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has something out there for everyone, no matter where you may need to take a break.

With all the incredible snow and terrain open, come out and end the season with a real bang here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
