Skiers and rider get your booties out of bed! Can you believe it, it’s another powder day! Mother Nature has been so good to us here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort lately! WE RECEIVED 14 INCHES OF SNOW in the past 24 hours! Strap on those powder boards, throw on your banana suit, and head up to get some much needed Sunday morning face shots! We have 14 lifts ready to take you to all the POW you could ever want. By the way, these amazing 14 inches takes our weekly total to 33 inches! Early 3 feet! March definitely came in like a lion this year!

It’s banana time! Today is the famous “7 Hours of the Banana” ski race where competitors will ski or ride nonstop laps down the Banana to raise money for the Adaptive Sports Center and the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation. In past seasons, top racers completed 42 laps on the Banana, while others take it more leisurely and enjoy a great day on the mountain. Stop at the Base of the Silver Queen lift to see costumes galore and cheer on these skiers and riders!
