Looks like we are in the sweet spot today, March 3, 2015, as, yet again, it’s SNOWING with a another 6 INCHES on the ground in the last 24 HOURS and 7 more expected to fall throughout the day! This system is a big one, having already dropped OVER A FOOT of powder in the last 48 HOURS and nearly 3 FEET in the past 7 DAYS. Crested Butte Mountain Resort has 94 trails open that are covered in a super soft 63 inch base and are all skiing fantastic thanks to the 4+ FEET of fresh pow that has graced our area in the last 10 days. There is no better time than now to grab the gear and catch a ride on any of the 14 lifts that are cranking to drop you down on 978 powder filled acres. The nearly 15 FEET of snow we’ve received this season ensures there will be good times and great powder turns on every lap! Groomer’s word is Smith Hill is the choice run today.
