Special Announcements
Blue bird skies, warm temperatures, and amazing snow conditions are just a few great reasons to grab the gear and head for the hill today, Saturday, March 7, 2015. Crested Butte Mountain Resort has seen over 15 feet of snowfall this season making all 987 acres of terrain currently open ski fantastically well. A soft 61 inch base blankets the 94 trails available for your riding pleasure, 58 of which have been smoothed out to Colorado’s Best Corduroy, and 14 lifts are cranking to serve it all up with ease. There is sure to be fun for all skill levels, as 98% of our magnificent mountain is ready to be shred! If your are looking for the best corduroy turns on the hill, look no further than Treasury, our Groomer’s choice today!

Announcements
Looking for a quick place to grab lunch. Stop by Jefe’s to make your own burrito or taco. Take it for the lift or sit on the sunny deck. Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More apres ski fun is to be had at the Butte 66 as, once again, Chuck Grossman will be on hand dishing out some live tunes to entertain your ear drums! Grab and drink, grab some friends, and enjoy some great blues, bluegrass, funk, folk, rock, swing, jazz, and classical music! Chuck goes on at 3pm today.

After a day on the slopes hit downtown Crested Butte for the town’s favorite event of the season! The main street of downtown Crested Butte is transformed into a giant huck fest with the annual Big Air on Elk. After a huge jump is built on Elk Avenue, skiers and riders are pulled to speed by a snowmobile and compete to impress with big air, tricks and the not so rare wipeout. This year in addition to the massive Elk Avenue Kicker, there will be live music, a BEER garden, better viewing options, food and more! Bass Physics will be taking the stage on 3rd and Elk at 9:30 pm for a 1 hour throw down. Bass Physics is one of Colorado's biggest up and coming electronic dance music acts. The entire event is all ages, and is FREE!!!

With sunscreen in hand, I’m out to enjoy another amazing weekend in paradise. Hope to see you on the hill!
