The good news for today comes from the diligent work of our lift maintenance, Ski Patrol, and snowmaking teams. Today, the WestWall, Painter Boy and Tubing Park lifts will be added to the list of 8 up and running chair lifts, giving us access to three additional trails: Buckley, T-Bar Road and Splain's Gulch. We currently have 345 accessible acres on 48 trails to ski and ride, including 226 groomed acres on 27 groomed trails. Be sure to check out the Groomer's Choice for today…making its 2012 winter season debut, Buckley. Today is going to be classically clear, offering up plenty of photo-taking opportunities all over the Mountain. You are going to love all 360 degrees of paradise in Crested Butte! The high for today will be 39 degrees and we encourage all our skiers and riders to load up on the sunblock today! I mentioned that the Tubing Park lift is opening today and that means long afternoons of sledding to tire out the children in your party. Stop by the Adventure Center, and pick up your tickets today. Whether you want to tube Warming House Hill, take a gravity-defying ride on our bungee trampoline, mount the 28-foot climbing wall or play a round of mini-golf, the Adventure Center in Mountaineer Square has all the information that you're looking for. Just ask your hotel Concierge or one of our yellow-vested Guest Service folks to point you in the right direction. It's not too late to plan your holiday vacation in Crested Butte, and if you are new to skiing or riding, then have no fear…"Learn to Ski for Free" is here!
