Good morning from your Snow Betty on Monday, January 9th 2012. I am happy to announce we have 5 new inches of snow in the last 48 hours bringing our total to 25 inches today. With a high of 34*F today and a 30% chance of snow it is going to be a nice day on to ride at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. We have 9 lifts open this week with East River, Prospect and the Magic Carpet closed until Thursday. Our hardworking and dedicated team will begin making snow on Upper Treasury to connect Paradise to East River with better product bringing you access to 390 acres of open skiable terrain. Thanks CBMR! We have 62% of our total terrain open with 80% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 17% of our advanced terrain now open. There are 52 trails open with 28 groomed trails of Colorado's Best Corduroy. The Groomer's Choice trail today is Upper Keystone.
