Happy Weekend on January 21st 2012. This is your Snow Betty reporting from Crested Butte Mountain Resort here to tell you it is going to be another fantastic day with a high of 36*F and 3 new inches of snow in the last 24 hours with a predicted 2-4more inches of snow to come today! Strap on your boots, get out your boards and head-up to the mountain for a real powder day, again. Our wonderful mountain has a solid base of 33 inches and 84% of our terrain is open with 95% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 71% of our advanced terrain now open. We have 12 open lifts today shuttling you to 67 open trails with 47 trails groomed totaling 532 acres of terrain open for your riding pleasure. The Groomer's Choice today is Treasury.
