Rise and shine all you snow sport enthusiasts to another gorgeous day of spring skiing here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on the super sunny Saturday, March 21, 2015.  With beautiful blue bird skies and amazing snow conditions there has never been a better time to make some turns down all 978 acres of diverse terrain currently available, 300 of which have been combed out to the best corduroy you’ll find in Colorado and all of which are blanketed in a 47 inch base.  All skill levels will find challenge and excitement as 98% of our incredible mountain is open with 100% of the beginner, intermediate, and advance terrain available as well as 56% of the extreme territory that is ready for those who dare.  Word from the groomers is Houston is the place to be for the best groomed turns on the hill today.
 
Announcements
It’s spring in the mountains, which means here in Crested Butte you’ll find sun, skiing, and live music with Skitown Breakdown presented by Volvo. The fun starts at 2:30 p.m. with DJ Just How on the deck of Butte 66. At 3:45 p.m. Brad Corrigan from Dispatch will perform in the Lodge at Mountaineer Square, and then our headliner, Switchfoot, will go on stage at 5 p.m. This totally FREE concert will be an amazingly good time, so break out your dancing shoes and shake some tail feathers at Skitown Breakdown today!

Stop by the Ice Bar at Uley’s Cabin for some awesome drink specials, give-aways and prizes from 11 – 3:30. Enjoy great drinks, beautiful views and the outdoor grill, which will be open!
