Happy hump day skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and welcome to the 16th day in December of 2015. With 5 inches of snow that have fallen in the past 5 days, the 30 inch base is skiing and riding soft and smoothly. Hop on any of the 8 lifts spinning today, which will take you to 41 open trails, spread across 289 skiable acres. Thirty of those slopes have been groomed by the hard working groomers, who recommend Houston as their groomer’s choice of the day! Mostly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching the upper teens is what you can expect, plus a good chance for snow today lasting through the rest of the week!
