Merry Christmas Crested Butte Mountain Resort!! It appears that all the girls and boys in the Crested Butte Valley have been good this year, as we are all receiving just what we asked for, POWDER DAYS! Another 3 INCHES of fresh pow fell on us overnight and there is no end in sight on this beautiful white Christmas day, as another 7 inches is expected to fall from now through tomorrow! With two and a half feet of fresh snow on the ground since last Sunday, skiing and riding the 59 inch base will be nothing short of spectacular! I hope Santa brought you a snorkel to use on the 550 acres of snow filled terrain currently available, because with 13 lifts spinning their wheels, you’ll want every breath you can get while getting in lap after lap on each one of the 75 powder deep trails. Those of you who asked for sweet, smooth turns on the groomers from ‘Ole Saint Nick will find your gifts on Splains Gulch, our best groomed run on the hill!
