Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort skiers and riders, and welcome to the 14th day of January in 2016. Mother Nature is rewarding us for being good this week, as she is planning on dumping over a foot of fresh snow on the mountain starting today and lasting through the weekend. This snowfall will add on to the 80 inches the mountain has already received this season, and we are only halfway through January! With 14 lifts up and running, the options are plentiful, with 86 open trails, 55 of which have been groomed. Steeps, bumps, groomers, whatever you may choose to shred down today, be sure to hit up Splain’s Gulch, as it’s been dubbed the groomer’s choice of the day!
