Good morning ski bunnies and powder hounds. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Friday, April 6, 2012. Spring is officially here and the mountains are still calling! Today you'll be taking 8 lifts up to a total of 500 accessible acres on the mountain. There are 67 trails to choose from, 50 of which have been groomed into Colorado's Best Corduroy. Our friendly groomers have been working through the night and would like to feature Jokerville as the Groomer's Choice for today. All told, the mountain is 48% open, with 78% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open as well as 51% of our advanced terrain. We could see some wind blowing around today, and the temps will range between 48 and 16 degrees. You've got three more days to ski or ride the mountain, so be sure to get yourself up to the hill today. Can you believe we have only three more days in the season?
