Paradise is OPEN! Powder Hound here, barking out your Saturday, December 1, 2012 snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort. It’s time to get your weekend on by heading up to the hill to carve up the 117 acres we are now offering. Five lifts are cranking their wheels to serve up 15 trails groomed to Colorado’s Best Corduroy. My nose is picking up the scent of snow in the area that will only help increase our 18” base. So break out that gear and join us on the hill for a prayer jig for the white stuff. Groomer’s word is Paradise Bowl is the place to be today!
Pack even more fun in to your day by visiting the Adventure Park which will be open today and tomorrow! Test your climbing skills on the rock climbing wall, practice your putting game on the mini golf course, and gain some elevation on our bungee trampolines. The fun is endless! Mini golf is available from 9am – 6pm and the Adventure Center is open from 1pm – 5pm. Daily park passes are $28 per person or $20 for kids 6 and under.
If you’re still looking for some gifts to finish off that holiday shopping list, check out the 17th Annual Crested Butte Community School PTA’s Holiday Bizaar. Over 30 vendors will be on hand selling mostly hand crafted items that are sure to make the perfect gift for loved ones on your list. This holiday extravaganza will be held in the school’s multi-purpose room today from 9am – 4pm. This is one Arts & Crafts Fair you won’t want to miss!
