Good morning from Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Thursday, December 15, 2016.
We have received 4 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours and 21 inches in the last 7 days, bringing our season total to 53 inches! Today will see cloudy skies with powder and packed powder conditions. We have 300 acres of groomed trails and 467 acres of total open terrain spread out over our 8 open lifts. West Wall Lift Opens today!
You’ve seen snowcats out on the slopes, leaving perfect tracks of corduroy down the mountain’s groomed runs. Now you can learn what it’s like to drive one through our one-of-a-kind Snowcat Driving Experience. Classes run twice daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday during the ski season. Reservations must be made ahead of time, and group bookings are available by request.
Take some of Crested Butte home with you. Logo’d, located in the Grand Lodge lobby is your convenient satellite shop for authentic logo wear, souvenirs, and gifts. Open Daily 8 am- 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm.
