Happy hump day skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Wednesday, January 25, 2017, and we are off to a great start with one inch of fresh snow that fell overnight! It’s going to be a superb day to take in the views from any of the 15 lifts turning, leading you to 108 open trails spread across 1148 skiable acres of terrain. While Crested Butte has some of the greatest steeps and bumps, they are also home to phenomenal groomers who have worked diligently throughout the night creating Colorado’s best corduroy on 61 of those open runs and recommend Smith Hill as their groomer’s choice of the day! Grab a partner and head up for the series finale of the Griggs Orthopedics SkiMo Race Series happening tonight at 5:00 pm! Registration for this team event will begin at 4:00 pm in the Treasury Building with the race beginning at 5:00 pm; and remember the event is FREE and comes with free beer and food afterwards! Looking for even more excitement after the lifts close? Look no further than Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s Adventure Park that includes bungee trampolines, mini golf and a 28-foot climbing wall. Located at the base of the mountain, the Adventure Park is open daily and has thrill-seeking adventures for everyone! With 20 feet of snow that have fallen so far this season, you don’t want to miss out on the fun that’s happening at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
