Announcements
Good morning beautiful Crested Butte! Today is Thursday, February 23, 2017 and the snow is back! Snow started falling around 4 am and we’ve already seen 1 inch of fresh pow stack up on the GORE-TEX PowCam. Today’s forecast is calling for more snow and temperatures in the mid-20s. Expect the slopes to be blanketed in a fresh layer of powder when the lifts open at 9 am.

Crested Butte’s annual youth ski race will bring 250 of Colorado’s top 12 and 13 year old alpine ski racers to Crested Butte. The Prater Cup is always a blast for competitors, their families and fans alike. Look for some high speed skiing and tons of fun as these athlete's look to qualify for the Junior Olympics!

Nobody loves kids like Crested Butte does. Did you know all kids ages 12 and under visiting Crested Butte Mountain Resort in April ski or ride for free. No strings attached, no parent ticket required, no lodging stay required, no advance reservations, just free skiing for the littlest rippers.

With new snow and more on the way, it’s sure to be a spectacular day to take a spin on any of the 15 chairlifts leading you to 121 open trails, 68 of which have been coated with Colorado’s best corduroy. Have fun, be safe and let’s bury the butte!
