Rise and shine, Crested Butte! It’s going to be a great day to be on the slopes. We have received 1” of new snow in the past 24 hours, and 7” in the last 48 hours, softening the conditions on each of our 121 open runs. The mountain is 100% open and the skiing is fantastic with an 83” base depth! After skiing from bell-to-bell today, there’s no better way to celebrate the day that was than at Butte 66. In addition to serving up tasty cocktails and après grub, join Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s own, Bill Dowell, for live music beginning at 4 pm. Snow continues to be in the forecast with up to four inches expected by tomorrow morning, and over a foot predicted over the next few days.
