With just five days left until the first day of spring, Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s snowpack is still going strong with a natural snow depth of 75 inches. Although it’s not quite officially spring yet, the last few days have sure felt like spring here on the mountain. Today, March 15, 2017, is looking like it will continue that pattern with warm temperatures. If you’ve been waiting for a nice warm day to use those extra lift tickets, your season pass, or to skin up the hill, today is looking like the perfect day for it. Do you have a little one that you’ve been dying to get on skis? We have good news for you! April 1 – 9, 2017 kids under 12 ski or ride for FREE! No strings attached, no parent ticket required, no lodging stay required, no advance reservations, no purchase of a bottle of wine (though it’s not a bad idea), just a good ole free ticket for the little rippers!
