Are you new to the mountain? We’ll show you around our lifts, trails and best green and blue runs so you can feel comfortable navigating the mountain on your own. It’s a great way to kick off your visit and meet fellow skiers – friends have definitely been made on these tours! So bring the family or your group to the base area. Tours meet at 9:45 a.m. and begin at 10 a.m. daily.

Good morning and welcome to another stunning day on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where spring has seemed to arrive early on this 19th day in March of 2017, as mostly sunny skies are expected with temperatures reaching 50 degrees today! With incredible spring conditions on the 119 trails open, you’re sure to have a spectacular day no matter where you decide to ski or ride!
Today is a stellar day to soak in the views from any of the 15 lifts spinning; and if you happen to be riding Paradise Lift, make sure to turn your head left to see the incredible plethora of costumes on display for the 43 Al Johnson Telemark Race, where racers will be racing up to the top of The North Face Lift and skiing down Hawks Nest to The Last Steep trying to win, or simply win best costume or best crash! With festivities beginning at noon, this is one event you don’t want to miss.
With the incredible conditions and weather happening, it’s a great time to get the little ones on the slopes and here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, they can do it for free in the month of April!
