There is no doubt; Crested Butte Mountain Resort is in the SNOW! This current system has left us with a fresh 6 inches in the last 24 hrs, 12 in the last 48, and 18 inches in the last 7 days! It looks like the fun will continue with another 30% chance for more pow as the storm lingers through the day!! This is Powder Hound fetching up another great one on Friday, December 28, 2012. We currently have 79 trails, 57 of which are groomed, ready for some ripping action. 12 are lifts spinning their wheels to serve up 95% of the beginner terrain and 98% of the advance terrain we have to offer! Add to that, a base measuring in at 31 inches and you have yourself a pretty incredible day to be on the slopes! Grab a second layer as the high is forecasted to cap out right around 17*F. Word from the groomers is Upper Ruby Chief is prime choice today. Check out the new Warren Miller film, Flow State, at the Center for the Arts starting at 8pm.
