Pow Pow, Wham Wham! Good morning from Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Old Sugar Hopkins here with the drift today, Sunday January 27th, 2013. A very white and fluffy full 9 inches of the new are down and on the ground. Get up, get out, and get on it! The base now checks in at 35 inches, the season snow total has reached 93. Enjoy 548 acres of well covered terrain, 280 of it groomed last night if you're in to that sort of thing. Everyone will get down the hill today in "Colorado's Last Great Ski Town" style. 11 lifts will send you back up to the top to lap out over and over again! Expect more to fall from the sky from now through Thursday, 80% is the chance today, with comparable numbers out there for the next five days. White winter heat. Temperatures are very comfortable, with a high of right around 32 or so.
