Active Isolated Stretching

February 5, 8:45 AM

Cure your aching feet and legs. Whether it’s an ankle sprain, plantar fasciitis, a calf muscle pull or thigh and hamstring pulls, Active Isolated Stretching can come to the rescue.

With AIS you gently stretch a specific muscle, hold the stretch for two seconds and then release. The pumping action circulates purifying oxygen into the muscle tissue and flushes out damaging toxins such as lactic acid. Of course, the entire body benefits from the positions.

Bill Smith, Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, will teach an AIS for the Feet & Legs Class.

When: Friday, February 5th, 8:45 AM at the Gym in Riverland ($10), and

Wednesday, February 10th from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at the United Congregational Church, 403 Maroon Avenue.(Donation)
