The Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival returns July 11-14, 2013, but for those that can't wait and would like a little taste today, join in on a Kick Off event from 4 until 6 p.m. in the Mountain Club Lounge behind 9380 in the Elevation Hotel and Spa. Come get a little preview of tastes to come at this fabulous summer occasion, benefiting Center for the Arts Crested Butte. There is no charge for today's event, appetizers and I imagine a little wine tasting will be available.

Top of the morning to you from the middle of the mountain! Sugar Hopkins checking in with your Monday, March 11, 2013 Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report. A fun filled day for the spring breakers lies ahead with sunny skies and excellent skiing and riding conditions. After last weeks incredible new snow, you'll find 958 acres of total terrain and 93 trails serviced by 14 lifts. 285 acres got the pass of love overnight by the Prinoths, with the Groomers Choice being that of Smith Hill. Expect a high of 33 degrees out there in the sunshine with relatively calm winds.
