Cock-a-doodle-do!! Rise and shine, Crested Butte Mountain Resort skiers and riders! Today is Wednesday, November 27th, 2013-Opening day for the 2013-2014 ski season, and it’s sure to be a great one! Not only is it SKI FREE for everyone, but it’s free skiing and riding on 20 diverse trails, spread across 136 acres, that can be accessed by the 5 lifts that are open and spinning (including Teocalli, Peachtree, Red Lady and the Aspen and Pine Magic Carpets,) all sitting on a 31 inch base. Thanks to the 56 inches of snow Mother Nature has already dumped on the mountain, plus the hard working snow makers, it’s going to be one unforgettable start to the season! With temperatures reaching a comfortable 37 degrees and the sun shining brightly, your day will be incredible on AND off the slopes. Butte 66 is the best place to work on your winter tan, satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst, all while listening to the sounds of Drew Emmit, who will be playing on the deck at 4pm. It’s clear, you know where to be on this last Wednesday in November-Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s Opening Day-just please save some for me!
