Rise and shine to another beautiful snowy day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this Saturday, the first day in March, 2014. Mother Nature is at it again, dropping another 4 inches of fresh powder on our hill in the last 24 hours, bringing our storm total to 12 inches so far! We should see these numbers climb as another 22 inches are forecasted to fly from now through Tuesday! All 120 extraordinary trails currently open are skiing amazingly well thanks to our season snowfall total of over 19 feet so far and base depth measuring in at 79 inches! Find powderific turns on the 1,167 acres of pure fun available, 320 of which have been smoothed out to Colorado’s Best Corduroy, and hop a ride on the 14 lifts that are cranking to serve it all up with ease. For the best corduroy turns on the hill, point your sticks down North Pass, our Groomer’s choice run of the day!

Continue the good times even once the lifts close with some apres ski fun at the Butte 66. Toast all the good turns of the day with your favorite beverages of choice, then stay for dinner to enjoy American cuisine at its finest with a classic roadhouse menu. The Butte 66 is located at the base area in the upper level of the Treasury Building.

Enjoy an unforgettable ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snow cat up to a cabin nestled in the woods where Chef Chris Schlaudecker will tantalize your taste buds with his crafty menu of Colorado cuisine with French influences.  After you’ve completed your samples of menu favorites such as Colorado Elk, Braised Lamb Shank or Whiskey River Salmon, bundle up for the sleigh ride back down to the base area.  Dinners are available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and advanced reservations are required.  Call 1-800-810-7669 to book your Uley’s Sleighride Dinner today!

Conditions have never been better at Powder Magazine’s #1 Ski Town in North America! Hope to see you on the slopes!
