Announcements
Just a few short days left to ski the amazing spring conditions here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! The skiing and riding has never been better thanks to 9 inches of fresh powder that has fallen in the last week and over 24 feet of snowfall that has decorated our mountain this season. 12 lifts are cranking their whees to lay you down on 121 shredtastic trails, 65 of which have been smoothed out to “Colorado’s Best Corduroy” by our professional grooming staff. There is sure to be fun for all skill levels as 100% of our magnificent mountain is available to be carved, spread over 1,547 acres of pure fun and covered in a super soft 84 inch base. If carving up the corduroy is what you seek on this fine Friday, April 4, 2014, then point your tips toward Ruby Chief, our groomer’s choice run of the day.

Don’t miss some end of the season shenanigans this Saturday, April 5, 2014!! Enjoy live music by the Empty Bottle Blues Band on the Butte 66 deck as well as our annual Slush Huck/Pond Skim! Fun for costume clad participants and just as fun for spectators, this is one of the most exciting events of the entire season!  Registration starts at 3:00 PM and Pond Skim, where contestants skim across water on their skis and snowboards, starts at 4:00 PM.

End of the season fun and great spring skiing at North America’s #1 ski town sure has me grabbing the gear and hitting the hill! I’ll throw you a wave from the chair!
