Good morning Crested Butte and welcome to a very spectacular last day of the 2013-2014 ski season at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Great snow conditions exist for you to hit up your favorite run that one last time, such as groomer's choice International. One hundred percent of the mountain is open and 24 feet of snow has fallen throughout the season. Eleven lifts will be running you to 121 open trails on 1547 acres on an 84 inch base, which all adds up to an awesome way to close out a real sweet season.
Today is also a music-filled day as the lifts turn for the last day of the season! Funky Bob will be performing outside Uley's Cabin at the Ice Bar from noon to 2:00 PM. Then, head on down to Butte 66 for Whiskey Tango and an exciting après ski party starting at 2:30 PM.
Don't forget, there's still fun to be had after the lifts stop spinning with the Ultimate Snowmobile event next Friday through Sunday, April 11-13! The inaugural 6-event snowmobile contest will crown the Ultimate Snowmobiler. Learn more at www.skicb.com/ultimate.
