Good morning skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and welcome to the 2nd day in December of 2014. It’s shaping up to be another phenomenal day on the slopes as partly sunny skies are expected, with temperatures reaching the upper 30’s. Thanks to the 12 inches of snow the mountain has received in the last week, 4 inches of which fell in the last 48 hours, you can expect soft and pristine conditions on the 36 trails that are open. Four lifts will take you to those diverse trails, 19 of which have been groomed; and while you’re out, be sure to give Forest Queen a whirl as it’s the groomer’s choice of the day.
After an exciting day on the slopes, the last thing you probably want to do is go home and cook. Don’t’ worry, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has you covered, with dinner served daily from 5-9 pm at the WoodStone Grille, located in the Grand Lodge. What a great way to end the day!
