Happy Thanksgiving from Crested Butte Mountain Resort's Snow Betty with Thursday, November 25th's snow report! Today is the day to burn a few extra calories before your big feast and head up to our newly opened mountain and a ton of fresh powder! In the last 24 hours we have received 2 inches, with 8 inches the last 48 hours! We have received over 25 inches in this last 7 days making the conditions perfect for riding this holiday.

This Thanksgiving we are thankful for our diligent snowmaking team who has been busy round the clock and with the help of Mother Nature has dusted our mountain with over 80 inches of fresh snow this pre-season, resulting in a 33-inch base, the best opening- conditions in the last six years! The Red Lady Express lift, Peachtree lift, Teocalli lift and the Pine and Aspen Magic Carpets are running with access to 20 trails and a total of 105 acres open.

The ski season Town Shuttle is up and running every 15 minutes connecting Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte, stopping in town at the "4-Way", "Old Town Hall", the "Nordic Center" and "6th and Belleview" next to Clarks Market. And don't forget to grab your cup-of-jo at Camp 4 Coffee in Mountaineer Square located inside the Lodge next to the base area bus stop.

For those of you who need some extra fun check out the Adventure Park, located at the base area, offering ice-skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall and a lift serving tubing hill. Daily passes and season adventure tickets are available in the Adventure Center.

And for our out-of-towner's take advantage of CBMR's 50/50 package celebrating 50 years of skiing and riding with 50% off lift tickets and $50 per person per night for lodging. A great deal and perfect excuse to experience "Colorado's last great ski town" and all the wonderful snow that has fallen upon us this pre-season. So dress warm and head out for a great pre-turkey ride. Visit skicb.com for more information and the snow and weather updates.
