Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort and welcome to another stellar Sunday on the slopes on this 18th day in January of 2015. With mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the upper 20’s, the views from the 13 lifts turning will be nothing short of spectacular. Over 80 trails have been opened for your skiing and riding pleasure, including the newly opened Teo Bowl, Headwall, and Paradise Glades. Want to see a demonstration of how dogs help in an avalanche? Avalanche dog and beacon demos will be held at 1PM and are presented by the Crested Butte Ski Patrol (CBSP). This presentation will happen at the Base Area between Red Lady & Silver Queen Lifts. Learn about avalanche safety with the CBSP and their adorable dogs!
