Good morning to our weekend warriors. This is your Snow Betty on Sunday, November 28th here to report we have had 25 inches of fresh packed powder in the last week, so grab some layers and don't forget your goggles because with a high of 25*F and 70% chance of snow throughout the day it is going to be a fun day to play on the hill. Our Snowmakers are marching across the front of the mountain with the snow guns blazing on Windy Gap, Triangle, Upper Keystone, Upper Park and Upper Ruby Chief and soon after they will be on their way to International. Our Groomers have been pushing out snow and laying corduroy in Paradise Bowl and Patrol has been working hard and are happy to announce Paradise lift and the associated terrain will open at 9am tomorrow, Monday November 28th. The Red Lady lift, Teocalli lift, Peachtree lift and the Aspen and Pine Magic Carpets continue to run to bring you access to 26 trails and 141 acres. This opening week has been the best in six years with 20% of the beginner and intermediate terrain open with soft groomers and even some powder shots. If you need a break from the snow, visit Django's for brunch and their new Mini Party Pies! These mini meat or veggies pies, along with a glass of wine from their expanded wine selection, is just what your need after a long day on the slopes.
